![]() Italy is a country which is heavily associated with being an artistic muse to painters, sculptors, writers, singers, and many other creative venues for centuries. Many people have visited and, in many cases, moved to Italy in order to begin or further fuel their creative talents. So it should come as no surprise that in a group of languages lovers, we have Italy or Italy loving authors and teachers who give us all their energy to make us love languages and Italy as well. To meet a few of these, as well as a get more of a look at Italy in general, we are devoting this issue to Italy. For that, we have articles from three wonderful ladies involved with Italy and Italian. The first is Melissa Muldoon. You might recognize the name for her "Studentessa Matta" blog. The second is Sicilian born Mary Ann Vitale. She came to American but her love of her home helped her in writing children's book. Finally, we have Deborah Caruso, an Italian teacher looking to take her educational experience and apply it in the freelance field. Of course, we round out the issue with news, events, reviews, and other activities, to make the issue well worth the download! Erik Zidowecki |
