 Romanian
Romanian is a Romance language which is spoken by about 24 million people mainly in Romania and Moldova, where it has official status. It is also one of the official languages of the European Union.

Here are some beginner words and phrases in Romanian for you to gain a simple introduction to it.

Good morning.Bună dimineaţa.
Good afternoon.Bună ziua.
Good night.Noapte bună.
Hello.Salut.
How are you?Ce mai faci?
Fine, thank you.Multumesc, bine.
What is your name?Cum vă numiţi?
My name is ...Numele meu e ...
Nice to meet you.Încântat.
